JDA U9 Blacks Impress on First Visit to Brentford
A First Brentford Experience
Our U9 Blacks enjoyed a brilliant opportunity as the team made their first visit to Brentford for a series of games against academy opposition.
For many of the players, it was their first opportunity to experience an environment like this together and another chance to test themselves against some excellent young players.
Four Brilliant Games
The boys took to the challenge superbly.
Across four games against four strong Brentford sides, JDA recorded two wins, one draw and one defeat.
While the results were fantastic, the biggest positive was the way the players competed throughout the visit and showed the progress they continue to make as a group.
More Than Just the Football
The day also gave the players the chance to experience more of the academy environment, including heading into the changing rooms and enjoying the occasion together as a team.
Experiences like these are a huge part of what we want to provide for our Academy players.
Testing themselves against professional academy opposition gives the boys a different challenge, creates brilliant memories and provides another opportunity to learn and develop.
A fantastic first Brentford visit for our U9 Blacks – and hopefully the first of many.
