JDA Returns to Manchester United for Our Biggest Tour Yet

Our Biggest JDA Tour Yet
After an unforgettable first visit to Manchester earlier in the year, JDA returned for an even bigger experience - this time taking three teams away together for our biggest tour to date.
Two U8 teams and our U9s headed to Manchester for a weekend packed with football, team experiences and another incredible opportunity to compete against one of the biggest academies in the country.
The weekend kicked off on Friday with our players competing in a tournament against local opposition before heading back for a team dinner together.
With three teams away, the trip was about far more than just the football. Players, coaches and families had the opportunity to spend time together away from the pitch, relax and enjoy the experience as one JDA group.
A Night Overlooking Old Trafford
Our hotel couldn't have been much closer to the action, with the players waking up to views overlooking Old Trafford.
The boys had the chance to visit the stadium, look around the home of Manchester United and head into the club shop, while some even managed to squeeze in more football on the hotel's rooftop pitch.
After dinner and an evening together, it was time to get some rest ahead of the main event.
Taking on Manchester United
Saturday brought an opportunity our players had been eagerly awaiting as JDA headed to Manchester United's training ground.
Our two U8 teams competed first, testing themselves in a six-team tournament against Manchester United opposition.
Both groups were excellent.
The confidence they showed in possession, the football they played and their willingness to compete against some of the country's top young talent was fantastic to watch.
It was another opportunity for our players to test themselves in an elite academy environment and show just how much they had developed.
U9s Battle Their Way to the Semi-Finals
Then it was the turn of our U9s.
They competed in the afternoon against another group of strong Manchester United sides and gave absolutely everything throughout the tournament.
The boys worked tirelessly, battled for each other and competed brilliantly, eventually progressing all the way to the semi-finals before their tournament came to an end.
Another brilliant display from a group who could be incredibly proud of the way they represented JDA.
More Than a Football Tour
Taking three JDA teams away together represented another huge step forward for us.
From playing tournaments and visiting Old Trafford to team dinners, hotel stays and competing at Manchester United's training ground, the weekend gave our players experiences and memories that extend far beyond their weekly football.
These are the opportunities we want to continue creating through JDA Academy: top-level opposition, incredible football environments and experiences our players will remember for years to come.
From taking one team on our first Manchester tour to returning with three teams just months later, it was another special milestone in JDA's journey.
An unforgettable weekend in Manchester - and we can't wait to be back.
