Inside JDA: September 2026
JDA Performance Centre Block 1 Gets Underway
September saw the launch of the new JDA Performance Centre, providing another high-quality training opportunity for ambitious young players.
Designed around small groups, high-intensity sessions and individual development, the programme gives players more opportunities to work on specific areas of their game in a challenging environment.
The opening weeks have seen players working through a range of technical topics, with plenty more planned as the programme continues to develop.
Our ENG & JPL Seasons Begin
Competitive football officially returned in September as our Academy teams began their 2026/27 ENG and JPL campaigns.
It marked an exciting milestone for JDA, with our teams beginning a new chapter and players across the age groups getting their first competitive minutes of the season.
The opening weeks have already provided plenty of challenges, goals and brilliant moments as our teams continue to develop and test themselves in competitive football.
U9 Blacks Visit Brentford
Our U9 Blacks enjoyed their first academy visit of the season with a brilliant opportunity at Brentford.
The boys faced four strong Brentford sides and produced an excellent set of performances, finishing the visit with two wins, one draw and one defeat.
Players also had the opportunity to experience more of the academy environment, including visiting the changing rooms, making it a memorable first Brentford experience for the group.
U9 Teals Take On Fulham
Our U9 Teals were also given the opportunity to test themselves against professional academy opposition with a trip to Fulham's Motspur Park training ground.
The boys produced some fantastic football across their games, going unbeaten during the visit with a brilliant set of performances against Fulham.
Another fantastic experience and another opportunity for the players to challenge themselves in a professional academy environment.
Three Academy Visits in One Month
The opportunities continued as our U9 Teals travelled to Southampton for their third professional academy visit of September.
It proved to be another brilliant day for the group, with JDA winning three of four games and producing some outstanding football throughout the visit.
Trips to Brentford, Fulham and Southampton made September an incredible month of experiences for our U9 players and gave both groups the chance to regularly test themselves against professional academy opposition.
Saturday Soccer School Gets Underway
September also saw the launch of our new JDA Saturday Soccer School, giving some of our youngest players another opportunity to get on the pitch each week.
Designed as a fun and positive introduction to structured football, the sessions focus on plenty of touches on the ball, games and helping young players build their confidence and enjoyment of football.
The Soccer School also provides another entry point into the JDA pathway, giving young players the opportunity to begin their development with us from an early age.
October Half-Term Camps Now Available to Book
With September wrapped up, attention now turns to our October Half-Term Camps - and we're just two weeks away!
JDA Camps return across both weeks of the school holidays, with players able to look forward to full days of football, challenges, competitions and tournament action.
Places are still available, with options to book individual days, a full week or both weeks.
Technical Centre Expands to U11s & U12s
September also saw another exciting expansion of our JDA Technical Centre, with a brand-new U11/U12 group launched for the 2026/27 season.
The new group extends our Technical Centre pathway into the older age groups, giving more players the opportunity to access additional high-quality weekly coaching alongside their grassroots football.
With Technical Centre sessions now available from U6 through to U12, we're excited to continue growing the programme and helping even more players develop their game with JDA.
A Huge October Ahead
September was a brilliant month across JDA - but October is shaping up to be even bigger.
Our Academy teams have another packed month of fixtures ahead, including trips to Southampton and QPR, while our players will also compete in more professional academy tournaments.
October Half-Term brings two weeks of JDA Holiday Camps before we finish the month with another huge milestone for the club - JDA's first-ever trip abroad, as we head to Germany.
Another month packed with opportunities, experiences and plenty of football. We can't wait to get started.
